An almost $12 million bond issue was authorized by the East Allen County Schools Board on Tuesday to create a single-school campus at what is now Heritage Junior-Senior High School.
The school, located between Hoagland and Monroeville, would house students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
The plan is to pay off the bond issue in less than 20 years. It was announced that a typical owner of a $100,000 home would have a $8.84 property tax increase per year.

A more detailed legal ad will be printed soon in local newspapers and the council will hold a public hearing on the proposed water rate hike and vote on it in a special session at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 19, in Town Hall.
