Thomas Dean Titus, 76, Decatur, passed away at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at Adams Woodcrest.
Tom was born in Decatur Thursday, Sept. 16, 1937, the son of the late Thomas Wesley and Margaret Rose (Thomas) Titus. He married Hazel Roberts on June 6, 1959; she passed away Nov. 29, 1965. He married Mary (Woebbeking) Titus Aug. 9, 1969, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne; she survives.

SELMA— The Lady Jets volleyball improved to a stellar 6-1 on the season after dominating the Wapahani Invitational Tournament on Saturday defeating Shenandoah, Wapahani, and Homestead.
In best of three set matches, the Lady Jets swept Shenandoah in the opener 25-17, 25-18, while also sweeping the host school, Wapahani, 25-21, 25-22 in an exciting match. In the final match of the day, Central ousted 4A juggernaut Homestead in three sets 25-21, 9-25, 18-16 shrugging off a bad second set to pull off the victory.
Tonight the Adams Central Jets host Eastside at the Landing Strip in Monroe. The annual Kekionga Greenway Gallop 5k commenced once again on Sunday with Kevin Heckman winning the overall title and Annie Boocher earning the top female time overall.
Heckman blazed by the competition with a time of 17:18.8, a full 45 seconds ahead of second place finisher John Schnieders (18:03.3) who had the top time amongst the Male Masters' division.
