Three hundred and 81 high school seniors in Adams County are eligible for graduation this Sunday at Bellmont, Adams Central, and South Adams high schools.
All three ceremonies will start at 2 p.m.
Bellmont has 210 candidates for graduation, Adams Central 84, and South Adams 87.
Tuesday was South Adams' final day of classes. Adams Central's last day for students was Thursday, with teachers due today for the final time this school year.
Chelsey Calvin "Cal" Miller, 85, of Monroe, died Thursday in Lutheran Hospital at Fort Wayne.
He was born to Benjamin H. and Alma Halberstadt Miller.
Surviving are his wife, Helen, and two daughters, Mrs. Tim (Janet) Vogleman of Huntington and Mrs. David (Debra) Bowers of Walkerton, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren, rural Decatur, with burial in Spring Hill Cemetery of Adams County.
Paul W. Reidenbach, 89, of rural Decatur, died on June 2, 2011 at River Terrace Estates in Bluffton.
Paul was born on December 2, 1921, in Decatur to Wilbur and Adeline (Bischoff) Reidenbach.
Paul married Bonnie M. Scott on December 28, 1965.
Paul was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Decatur. He was one of the founders of Peace Lutheran Church at Berne, where he served as president and vice-president and was a 41-year charter member.
Paul Reidenbach, 89, a former rural Decatur resident and a longtime businessman here, died this morning at River Terrace Estates in Bluffton.

At a special meeting of the South Adams Schools Board on Wednesday, Superintendent Scott Litwiller announced that the school corporation received only one bid on the former elementary school property. The bid of $650,000 from GKB Enterprises, LLC (owned by Steven J. Kreigh of Decatur and the estate of Ralph E. Biggs) is contingent upon a lease being signed with CVS Corporation.
Police in Adams and Wells counties — plus state police, federal marshalls, and state conservation officers, united on Wednesday to make an anti-drug sweep, primarily in Wells County, and arrest 20 people (19 males and one woman) on a total of 44 charges.
Three others are still being sought.
Violet L. Kreischer, 96, of Decatur, died at 9:50 a.m. Monday in the nursing center at Woodcrest Retirement Community.
She was born on March 5, 1915, in Adams County to Welker E. and Nora A. Hoffman Woodruff.
She married H. Darrel Kreischer on August 24, 1935, in Covington, Kentucky; he passed away on July 10, 1980.
Violet was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church in Decatur, and a former member of the Ladies of the Moose.
Edwin Dale "E.D." Purk, 83, of Van Wert, Ohio, died at 3:50 a.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011, in Van Wert County Hospital at Van Wert.
He was born on May 5, 1928, in Allen County, Indiana, to Harley O. and Agnes C. Beauchot Purk.
He married Ruth Heath on April 17, 1948 in Dixon, Ohio; she died on August 25, 1990.
He worked for International Harvester Corp. in Fort Wayne for more than 33 years, retiring in 1981, and was a longtime member of Local 57 in Fort Wayne.
Dorothy Mae Putman, 85, of Panama City Beach, Florida, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2011, at her home in the arms of loving family members under the direction of Covenant Hospice.
She was born on October 4, 1925, in Willshire, Ohio, Blackhawk Township, Mercer County, to William Glenn White and Glendola Fern Case White.
She graduated from Pleasant Mills High School in Adams County and was a member of the Methodist faith.
Adams County Sheriff Shane Rekeweg has saved the county $22,110 in telephone charges that were inadvertently double-billed by the CenturyLink firm.
At Tuesday's meeting of the county commissioners, Beth Stratman, an account manager at the Warsaw office of CenturyLink, reported that Rekeweg did a fine job of studying the telephone records and discovering that the sheriff's office had been double-billed $1,842.50 per month for 12 months for the 911 emergency telephone system.
