Edward E. Dick, 83, formerly of Decatur, died today at Swiss Village Retirement Community in Berne.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur.
Ralph R. Grote, 89, of Decatur, died at 5 a.m. Monday in the nursing center at Woodcrest Retirement Community.
He married Irene C. Conrad on March 28, 1943, in Immanuel Lutheran Church; she survives.
He was an auto mechanic for 49 years, a charter member of the Union Township Lions Club, and a member of American Legion Post 43 in Decatur, of which he had served as commander.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Catherine J. "Katy" Fosnaugh, 91, a longtime resident of Linn Grove, died Thursday in Hospice Home at Fort Wayne.
She was born in Adams County on September 30, 1919, to John and Clara Chrisman Pearson.
Among survivors are three daughters,,Mrs. Bruce (Carole) Mann of Monroe, Mrs. Robert (Peggy) Diek of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Richard (Sandra) Courson of Warsaw.
Lorinda F. Koeneman, 94, of Monroeville, died Saturday at The Village of Heritage nursing home in Monroeville.
She was born to William F. and Clara Thieme Hockemeyer.
She married Oscar W. Koeneman; he passed away in 1993.
R. Rolando “Roli” Rangel, 33, of Noblesville, Indiana, formerly of Decatur, died unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, January 13, 2011.
He was the son of Roberto M. and Irma O. (Serna) Rangel of Decatur. Roli was born on December 10, 1977 in Decatur.
He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Decatur and its Hispanic Society.
D. Florine Thatcher, 88, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011, in Vancrest Nursing Home at Convoy, Ohio.
She was born on June 17, 1922, to Lester V. and Grace C. (Cully) Everett in Wren, Ohio.
On October 1, 1960, she married Joseph W. Thatcher; he passed away on May 8, 2005.
Leland "Gene" Welker, 84, of Bemidji, Minnesota, died on Monday, January 10, 2011, at North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji.
Leland Eugene Welker was born on December 5, 1926, in Monmouth to Harley "Chip" Welker and Christena (Rumschlag) Welker. His mother died when he was an infant and he was raised by an uncle and an aunt, Frank and Rose Loshe.
He grew up and attended school in Decatur.
The second accident involving a school bus in Adams County in less than a week occurred Friday in downtown Decatur at 3:20 p.m.
A Decatur Police Department report said Lydia A. Lockwood, 16, Hickory Road, Decatur, was eastbound in her van at the intersection of Monroe and Third Street. She told police she thought she had the green light and entered the intersection.
Fire destroyed a mobile home in the Country Acres area, southwest of Decatur, late Sunday night and killed two dogs that were in the residence.
No people were home when the fire started.
A spokesman for the Decatur Fire Department said today that the mobile home was owned by Michelle Colbert and that the blaze remains under investigation.
Damage also was incurred by a parked pickup truck and the exterior of a neighboring mobile home.
