Mary Maxine (Speakman) Nine, 82, of Fort Wayne, died Friday.
Among survivors are her sister, Jean Goldner, of Decatur.
Services will be at 4 p.m., Monday at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, with visitation starting at 2 p.m. Private burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
Frederick “Fred” H. Scheimann, 77 years old, of Simsonvill, S.C. and formerly of Ossian, died Thursday, February 23, 2012, at his residence after an extended illness.
Fred was the widower of Nira Shirley Miller Scheimann. Fred was born in Decatur, the son of the late John L. and Margaret J. (Elliott) Scheimann.
Thomas Norton Sefton, 86, of Decatur, passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 25, 2012.
He was born on January 5, 1926, in Anderson, Ind., to the late E. M. “Pete” and Kathleen (Norton) Sefton.
He married Mary E. “Peg” VanHoy on October 29, 1955, and she preceded him in death on January 14, 2010.
One of the featured events at Spotlight 2012, the Decatur Chamber of Commerce-sponsored business expo, will be the North Adams Arts show, Chamber officials said.
Spotlight will be held Saturday, March 10, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at Bellmont Middle School.
The art show is sponsored by the Decatur Rotary Club, with a grant from the Adams County Community Foundation. The show's main focus will be a juried art show for all Adams County high school art students.

Geraldine “Gerry” Claire Smerz Aloisio, 85, died February 2, 2012, in Arlington, VA. Geraldine was born December 30, 1926, in Chicago to the late Robert and Tillie Watrin Smerz. She was married to Gene P. Aloisio, who preceded her in death.
Members of the Decatur Plan Commission are learning that implementing changes to the city’s zoning regulations to govern adult and sexually-oriented business may be more difficult and time-consuming than first believed.
The panel met for more than an hour Thursday afternoon to fine-tune recommendations first made public earlier this month surrounding changes to city zoning laws that would restrict where adult and sexually-oriented business may legally open their doors.
