Robert C. Enterline Sr., 73, a resident of Decatur for 12 years, died at 7:05 a.m. last Tuesday in The Village of Heritage nursing home at Monroeville.
He was born on October 15, 1937 in Fort Wayne to Charles H. and Mildred B. Baughman Enterline.
He married Lorraine Katie Mahiai Hookano on April 5, 1958 in Hawaii and she survives.
Juanita Emberlin, 88, of Berne, died Friday in Adams Memorial Hospital.
She was born to Odie and Doris Woods Murrell.
Among survivors are A daughter, Joyce Ratliff of Fort Wayne, and A son, Donald Emberlin of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
A private family funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, with burial in MRE Cemetery, rural Berne. Visiting hours are 9-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Janice E. Miller, 62, of Geneva, diedMarch 17 in Lutheran Hospital at Fort Wayne.
She was born in Wabash Township of Adams County on December 13, 1948n to Darrol and Phyllis Smitley, who live in Geneva.
Other survivors are her husband, David A. Miller; a son, Scott A. Miller of Camby, Indiana; a sister, Mrs. Gerald (Carol) Tonak of Berne; and a brother, Rodney Smitley of Glendale, Missouri.
Elizabeth M. "Beth" Reiners, 80, of Berne, died today at Swiss Village Retirement Community.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne.
Enos R. Schwartz, 33, of rural Monroe, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born on April 25, 1977, in Adams County to Amos R. and Maryann G. (Schwartz) Schwartz.
Chalmer R. Sorgen, 90, of Berne, died Sunday in Adams Memorial Hospital.
He was born to Carl and Firsta Feasby Sorgen.
Surviving are a sister, Arleda M. Sorgen of Berne, and two nieces, Sally Stucky of Fort Wayne and Mari J. Muselman of Phoenix, Arizona.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, with burial in MRE Cemetery, rural Berne. Visiting hours are 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Mary Alice Whitright, 88, of Decatur, passed away at 8:08 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 29, 1922, in Adams County to John A. and Mary (Bernard) Kintz.
She married Harold E. “Beany” Whitright on July 12, 1943; he passed away on October 1, 1991.

Bellmont won the recent Northeast Hoosier Middle School Conference Wrestling Tournament, piling up 16 placements and 332.5 points to beat Indian Springs by 20 points.
Taking titles for Bellmont were: Jordan Amacker at 95 pounds, Brett Baker at 155, and heavyweight Jacob Wooster.
Bellmont track coach Carl Risch reports that only 27 are out for girls track, but he's still smiling.
"We have some real quality this year," said Risch, noting the return of sophomore sprinter Alexis Harvey, 800 runner Jessica Brewer, who went to state two years ago, and some promising freshmen.
"The numbers are down a little, but we definitely are going to score some points," said Risch.
A unanimous vote of the Adams Central School Board on Thursday followed a strong vote by AC's teaching staff as a contract was ratified to make several changes in provisions that will remain in effect until August of 2013.
However, according to AC Superintendent Mike Pettibone, the school board and the Adams Central Classroom Teachers' Association (ACCTA) will renegotiate salary and health benefit issues this summer.
