Vera M. (Bauer) Doty, 90, former of Decatur and Fort Wayne, died Saturday, May 10, 2014, in Allentown, Pa.
She was born in Union Township, Adams County, the daughter of the late Edwin and Clara (Lehrman) Bauer.
She was the wife of the late Nelson G. Doty.
Vera lived in Indiana until 2012. She worked as an educational secretary for Decatur High School, Bellmont High School and Fort Wayne North Side High School. Vera was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
William Russell Burk, 68, Ohio City and formerly Van Wert, Ohio, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at St. Rita’s Medical Center following a battle with cancer.
He was born May 5, 1946, in Van Wert to the late Russell A. and Minnie E. (Wooderson) Burk.
William had been employed at Decatur Casting for 27 yeras and later at Securitas.
He graduated in 1965 from Van Wert High School. William was an advid CB’er with the handle “Swamp Fox.”
Ruth Ann Maldeney, 75, Decatur, passed away at 6 a.m. Sunday, June 8, 2014, at her residence.
She was born Thursday, Dec. 29, 1938, in Allen County, the daughter of the late Henry S. and Cecilia (Hoffman) Renninger. Ruth Ann married her husband of 54 years, Richard E. Maldeney, April 30, 1960, in St. Joseph Catholic Church-Hessen Cassel; he survives.
