Harry R. Schwartz, 92, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the Towne House Retirement Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born in Grabill to the late Henry and Frances Schwartz.
Erna Bultemeier Tuttle, born Sept 30,1924, near Decatur, passed away quietly May 27, 2014, in Las Vegas.
Her family meant everything to her. She moved from Snow Lake to Las Vegas after the passing of husband, Richard, in 1989 to be near “her beautiful family." She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed by all.
The fundraising committee of Berne Community Development Corporation has announced the capital campaign for the Muensterberg plaza pavilion will end June 30.
According to a CDC spokesperson, to date more than $508,000 has been contributed for the final improvements and future maintenance/endowment. The closing date of the campaign will give sufficient time to order the donor plaques to be installed at the pavilion site by the dedication date, scheduled for Aug. 23, organizers said.
