YORKTOWN— Bellmont golf ended their season on Friday night as did South Adams' Cal Clouser at The Players Club Golf Course, the site of IHSAA regional boys golf.
While Muncie Central officially hosted the regional event, Yorktown High School made themselves at home on a course they played several times this year capturing the top honors with a team score of 302 strokes.
The Adams County Regional Sewer District board of trustees is requesting guidance and assistance from other county officials in establishing a policy governing who will be required to hook into a fledgling sanitary sewer system and who will be omitted from the project.
The board will turn to the county commissioners and the county board of health in establishing guidelines for participation in the sewer project — specifically as those policies pertain to members of the Amish community.
Sculptures were being put in place this morning along 2nd Street in anticipation of the grand unveiling later today of the artwork included in this year’s Decatur Sculpture Tour. The event begins at 5 p.m., with the first sculpture to be uncovered at 6 p.m.
