Lena Paula Emelia (Sauer) Fleming, 97, Decatur, passed away in December 2013, and was interred in Decatur Cemetery.
Due to a family illness services were delayed until this time.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life Remembrance beginning at 3 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to Zion Lutheran Church or Family Life Care.
The Adams County Health Department conducted a mock “medication dispensing exercise” Wednesday morning in the Service Complex. According to Adams County Preparedness Coordinator Brenda Alexander, the mock disaster scenario was utilized to test the viability of a point of distribution, or POD, site for administering medicine on a large-scale basis in the event of a public health emergency.

The Decatur resident, who admits she is not a regular Hoosier Lottery player, struck it big when she won $1 million in the March 19 Powerball drawing. She said she was oblivious to all the speculation in town about who had the winning ticket and, in fact, held her ticket for a week before checking it.
