United Way salutes major donors

    The United Way of Adams County recognized area residents and businesses who have made notable contributions to the organization over the past year during a luncheon held at the Monroe United Brethren Church Wednesday.
    UW co-campaign chairs Jessica Thieme and Natasha Nevil addressed the crowd, thanking board members and agencies throughout the county for their tireless efforts in supporting the various committees and fund drives formed by the UW each year.

Medicaid deadlines looming

    Sweeping changes affecting Medicaid eligibility requirements for Indiana residents will take affect June 1, it was learned Wednesday night at the monthly meeting of the Adams Health Network’s board of trustees.
    And there is an even more pressing deadline looming. For some individuals to remain on the Medicaid state roster, paperwork will need to be filed with the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration in Indianapolis by May 1.

Residents are invited to welcome home returning Honor Flight veterans
