WOODBURN—Despite holding a one point lead with under two minutes to go in the fourth quarter, three turnovers in the final minute turned out to be the deciding factor as Adams Central fell to the Woodlan Warriors by a score of 54-50 on Friday night.

Tonight the Braves welcome NHC rival Carroll to the mat for a conference showdown that will have a lot to show for who may be crowned champion later this season. The pre-game show will begin approximately 15 minutes before the varsity match is set to begin (~ 7:15 p.m.).

“Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow” seemed to be the theme song for most of Indiana earlier this week. The worst is over, for now, but there is surely more to come, and the postmaster of the Decatur branch office of the U.S. Postal Service is asking customers to help letter carriers deliver the holiday mail safely by clearing snow and ice from sidewalks, stairs and mailboxes.
