KINGSLAND—Bellmont used a balanced attack to neutralize the Norwell offense on Friday night at the Courtyard nabbing a convincing 49-28 victory over the Knights.

A spokesman for Fort Wayne-South Bend Bishop Kevin Rhoades says he was injured in a fall Sunday night while he was on his way to Washington, D.C., for meetings with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Diocesan spokesman Sean McBride tells The Journal Gazette that Rhoades returned to Fort Wayne on Wednesday and underwent surgery Thursday at a Fort Wayne hospital.

Dwight L. "Dewey" Brunner, 72, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
He was born in Decatur on March 27, 1941 to the late Lester and Ethel (Bunner) Brunner.
Dwight was a dedicated, hardworking employee at Zollner Pistons, retiring after many faithful decades of service.
Mae M. Frauhiger, 82, of Bluffton, passed away at 3:45 a.m. on September 11, 2013.
She was born February 17, 1931, to the late Howard and Hazel (Blair) Mowery in Wells County.
Mae married Jerry E. Frauhiger on December 28, 1956 in Bluffton; he survives.
A 1949 graduate of Bluffton High School, Mae co-owned Happy's Place Tavern in Berne with her husband for 23 years.
Ralph "Ed" Langston, 60, of Piqua, Ohio, died at 8:26 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home.
He was born July 12, 1953 in Piqua to Richard Langston and the late Esther B. (McGillvary) Langston of Piqua. He married Janice M. Matchett; and she survives.
