Gilbert D. Brookhart, 90, Fort Wayne, died September 13, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Among survivors are his wife, Mary Anna (Johnson) Brookhart of Fort Wayne; three sons, James L. (Susan) Brookhart of Nixa, Mo., Steven E. (Carrie) Brookhart of Cadillac, Mich. and Kenneth W. (Jan) Brookhart of Fort Wayne; daughter, Pamela (Doug) Brookhart Wray of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren, Eric, Jeff, Joel, Alison, Tricia, Ben, Gabe, Joe, Brandon, and Jason; and 16 great grandchildren.
David Hierholzer, 74, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Woodcrest Nursing Center in Decatur.
Among survivors are many cousins.
Hierholzer was preceded in death by his father, Egbert Hierholzer; mother, Alma M. (Will) Hierholzer; and brother, Lester H. Hierholzer.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7321 E. St. Rd. 67 in Bryant.
Funeral services to follow, also at the church.
Richard A. "Rick" Hill, 63, Decatur, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at his residence.

A spokesman for Fort Wayne-South Bend Bishop Kevin Rhoades says he was injured in a fall Sunday night while he was on his way to Washington, D.C., for meetings with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Diocesan spokesman Sean McBride tells The Journal Gazette that Rhoades returned to Fort Wayne on Wednesday and underwent surgery Thursday at a Fort Wayne hospital.
