A new day, a new month and another deadline passed. "And I don't see anything has happened," Decatur Mayor John Schultz said at Tuesday night's city council meeting, referring to the George Craig property at Second and Jackson streets.
Councilman Ken Meyer raised the issue, asking at the meeting if anything had been done to clean up the place.

GARRETT — The Lady Jets flexed their muscles against another ACAC opponent on the volleyball court Tuesday night sweeping the Garrett Lady Railroaders 25-13, 25-18, 25-17.

Tamara L. Miller, 54, Decatur, passed away at 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
She was born in Decatur on Sunday, Feb. 8, 1959, to the late Robert Roebuck and Jane (Dick) Roebuck-DeRoo; her mother survives.
Tamara had been a CNA at Woodcrest Nursing Center for 11 years.
