"Mack" Roberts, 70, of Decatur died Saturday, August 24, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Arrangements are pending at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur.
Adams County Memorial Hospital (AMH) interim Chief Executive Officer JoEllen Eidam, meeting with the Adams Health Network (AHN) board on Wednesday night, reported on the success the hospital has had marketing its involvement with the Stroke Now network.
A framed Indiana National Guard jersey bearing the number of the late Spc. Nick Taylor, a former South Adams Starfire, was presented to the Taylor family prior to the kickoff of the Stars' season opener last week.
Making the presentation was Lt. Col. Shaun Gardner of the National Guard, shown at right in accompanying photo by J Swygart.
An identical framed jersey was presented to South Adams High School Principal Trent Lehman, to be hung in the school.

After several continuous months of positives balances at the end of the month, the Adams Memorial Hospital (AMH) bottom line was $35,807 in the red at the end of July, according to a statement released Wednesday at the monthly meeting of the Adams Health Network (AHN) Board of Trustees.
Thick fog blanketed the area this morning, prompting one public school system to delay the start of classes.
As of 9:30 a.m., Adams Central schools were on a two-hour delay. Also as of that time, North Adams and South Adams systems were still operating on their regular schedules.
Jay County Schools were on a three-hour delay.
The Squaws held their own against a golf juggernaut Tuesday landing an impressive 189-192 victory over the Homestead Spartans at Cross Creek.
“This was a great win for Squaws’ golf,” noted coach Andy Heim.
Rachel Klingensmith rose to the occasion for Bellmont shooting a course low 43 to pace the Squaw shooters. Courtney DelaCusta also shot a 43 for Homestead tying for medalist honors.
