Squaws blast So. Side in soccer opener

August 22, 2013

The Squaws started their season at home against South Side on Tuesday night winning a lopsided battle against the Lady Archers by a 7-0 count.
Bellmont quickly took control of the possession game against South Side and 20 minutes into the game Alyssa Strickler stole the throw-in and drew the last defender and goalie to her with the dribble leaving the forward Kenadee Roth wide open. Strickler quickly dumped the ball to her for Roth’s first career goal with an easy pass to the back of the net for the first and only Squaw lead.
