Hoosier Pattern still moving ahead

    Hoosier Pattern, a Decatur business Mayor John Schultz called "a core" of local economic development, is continuing to move rapidly forward, it was learned at Tuesday night's Decatur City Council meeting.
    Attorney Jeremy Brown, representing the N. 10th St. metal pattern maker, and owner-operator Keith Gerber were on hand at the meeting to request a tax abatement on a $1.7 million piece of equipment that Hoosier Pattern will be installing in the weeks ahead.

Dueling petitions Lehman seeks to stop library Monroe effort

    Dueling petitions in the Monroe Township portion of the town of Monroe ultimately will determine whether residents there will become members of the Adams Public Library System (APLS).

Peace Monument on tour; souvenirs to be available

    The Adams County Peace Monument on the southwest corner of the courthouse square will be featured during this Saturday's Sculpture Tour.
    Committee members from the Peace Monument 100th Anniversary Celebration will be available at the monument to answer questions and to give the history of the monument, according to a news release.
