Jerry Lee "Monk" Amweg, 65, of Ohio City, Ohio, went to be with his Lord at 6:55 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2013, at CHP Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert, Ohio.
Jerry was born June 18, 1947, in Van Wert, to the late Daniel Hamilton and Louella Gwendolyn (Seger) Amweg.
He married CarieAnn Jo Bellinger on June 3, 2003; she survives in Ohio City.

Nicholas S. Handshoe, 41, Berne, recently pleaded guilty in Adams Circuit Court to several charges and was given prison time by Judge Chad E. Kukelhan.
Guilty pleas were entered to invasion of privacy, possession of methamphetamines, resisting law enforcement, and violating probation.
