V. Ben Hebble, 66, of Decatur, died Sunday.

Ralph Kenworthy, 107, of Decatur, died on Sunday.

The Adams County Republican Party will hold its quadrennial reorganizational meeting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, at GOP headquarters at 149 N. 2nd St. in downtown Decatur.
According to county Party Chairman Rob Noetzel, the state rules of the Indiana Republican Party set the guidelines which call for a reorganizational caucus every four years for the election of the county Republican Central Committee, including the selection of a county chairman, vice chairman, treasurer and secretary.
Helen Marie Nevil, 87, of Portland, died Thursday at her residence.
Visitation was Sunday and from 1-2 p.m. today at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today.
Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva.
The Decatur Fire Department was dispatched at 9:59 a.m. on Saturday to the home of Luke Snyder, 1116 Cross Pointe, in response to a house fire.
The fire appears to have started in an attic area above the garage, which was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, according to a spokesperson for the department.
Crews were able to stop the blaze from spreading to the rest of the home, but the garage area received approximately $50,000-$60,000 in damages, according to the spokesperson.
Ralph Kenworthy, 107, believed to be Decatur's oldest resident — and probably Adams County's — died Sunday.
Kenworthy had observed his 107th birthday on January 6.

Kenworthy was born in Camden, Ohio, but lived most of his life in Decatur.
Hal E. "Weiner" Wann, 55, of Berne, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013, at his home.
Hal was born to Harold and the late Regina (Pierce) Wann on May 16, 1957, in Van Wert, Ohio.
He married Bonnie Beer on September 18, 1999; she survives.
Hal worked at Berne Apparel and later at Red Gold in Geneva. He enjoyed fishing, camping, barbecuing, and playing pool.
Virginia M. Raudenbush, 89, of Decatur, passed away at 11:10 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Adams Memorial Extended Care.
She was born on June 6, 1923, in Saybrook, Ill., to the late Leroy M. and Anna M. (Blum) Taylor.
Virginia married James Harvey on February 9, 1944; he preceded her in death in June of 1952.
PORTLAND — Though Bellmont rallied to within five points of favored Adams Central after two rounds, the Jets closed ranks and put the tourney away in the wrestlebacks and rolled to a 40-point win to break Bellmont's 22-year sectional win skein Saturday at Jay County.
