Homestead offense too much for Braves

    FORT WAYNE—The annual "David versus Goliath" match-up of the smallest and largest schools in the NHC concluded as predicted by the experts as Bellmont suffered their second loss of the season and first in conference to the mighty Homestead Spartans (ranked #11 in 5A) 42-7.
    There was a feel of "here we go" in the crowd when Homestead quarterback Matt Skowronek connected with receiver Isaac Griffith for a 68-yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage.
