Squaws win Bi-County

    OSSIAN—Yogi Berra once redundantly noted "it was deja vu all over again."
    That was the case Saturday at the Adams-Wells County Cross Country Invitational at Norwell High School as the same two teams that won the Bellmont Conditioner meet last Tuesday again won titles with the Bellmont girls edging out Norwell while South Adams stormed to an easy triumph in the boys meet.

Squaws split four in Yorktown Invite

    YORKTOWN—For the first time all season, the Squaws have a number other than "0" in their loss column after surviving the always brutal Yorktown Invitational.
    Bellmont coach Craig Krull wouldn't have it any other way, though. The Squaws' leader's philosophy has always been to play the toughest teams during the regular season so that come sectional time and beyond, his team is seasoned and ready.
