United Way of Adams County has announced that the third annual Stuff-a-Bus event will be held on Wednesday, June 20, with the local chapter once again collecting food and other supplies for community food banks.
There are still many families in Adams County who are in need of help and the area food banks are struggling to maintain supplies, according to a United Way representative.
Busses will be parked from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. at four locations in Adams County:
In an effort to ensure the staff at Adams Central continues to strive to give students their best efforts, the AC Board of Education, at its meeting this week, adopted a new system of evaluating teachers.
Superintendent Mike Pettibone said that Indiana law mandates teacher evaluations and under this new system, RISE, he feels teachers and principals alike will benefit from the more detailed process.

Inspection of merchandise will begin at 9 a.m., and the food tent will begin serving at 9:30 a.m.

Teresa A. Keller, 48, of Decatur, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Decatur, on July 1, 1963, to Vernon W. and Judith K. (Thieme) Witte.
She married Matthew J. Keller on August 3, 2011; he survives.
Teresa was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church where she worked as a custodian and for St. Peter Immanuel School as well.
