State Rep. Matt Lehman, R-Berne, will host three town hall meetings on this Saturday to, he says, gather feedback from constituents regarding the 2012 legislative session.
The meetings are an open forum for any legislative issue the public wishes to discuss, he added.
The day will start in Decatur with a meeting from 8-9 p.m. at the public library. Lehman will be joined by State Sen. Travis Holdman, R-Markle, for that session.
A fundraiser has been set for this Saturday at the St. Louis Besancon Hall, 155535 E. Lincoln Highway, near New Haven, from 5-10 p.m., for Eli Wellman, the three-year-old son of Kevin and Linda Wellman.
This event will include a a free-will donation meal, music, and a silent auction, among other activities.
Donald W. Borne, 90, of rural Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012, at his home.
He was born on September 25, 1921, in Adams County to the late Albert and Loretta (Koldeway) Borne.
Donald worked as a farmer before retiring in the fall of 2011, milked cows for Allen Dairy, and also worked at General Electric for 34 years before retiring in 1985.
He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
Beatrice G. “Bea” Daniels, 86, died Wednesday afternoon at Swiss Village.
Arrangements are pending at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home.
Suzette Marie (Girard) Prchal, 65, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012, at her residence.
Born October 18, 1946, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Jay and Erline Girard.
She married Bob Prchal on September 6, 1968, and he survivies.
"Suzy's warm and loving smile and sense of humor will be missed by all."
Emma B. Schwartz, 24, of Geneva, died Wednesdat her residence.
She was born on December 4, 1987, in Adams County.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish.
