The massive project to move the archive records that were being housed at the Adams County Jail has been completed, according to Adams County Recorder Connie Moser.
Moser told the Adams County Commissioners Monday the job of transferring the records from the jail to the Bank of Geneva, Berne branch, involved workers from Community Corrections, work-release inmates, transportation officer Fritz Bultemeyer, Aauditor Bill Borne, Clerk Gayla Reinhart, Rose Bryan of the Adams Public Library system, and Moser.
Whether or not county employees are replaced with full- or part-time employees should be universal, according to Community Corrections Director Ian Gilbert.
Gilbert met with the Adams County Commissioners on Monday to discuss moving his administrative assistant from a part-time to a full-time position.
Back in September, Gilbert requested permission to hire a full-time replacement for the administrative assistant who was quitting.
Donald L. Bollenbacher, 85, of Decatur died Tuesday at his residence.

The annual Autumn Health Fair will once again be offered by the Adams Memorial Hospital (AMH) at the South Adams Senior Center in Berne on Friday, November 2, from 7-10 a.m.
The health fair will allow people of all ages to receive a variety of lab tests and a flu shot as well as a chance to review educational booths and displays, an announcemente said.
Dale E. Hoffman, 94, of Elkhart, passed away of natural causes at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Hubbard Hill Estates, in Elkhart.
He was born in Decatur on December 22, 1917, to the late Otto and Verna (Owens) Hoffman.
Michael J. Lehman, 73, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Berne, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012, at Parkview North.
Among survivors are his daughter, Pamela (George) Pulliam of Cumming, Ga.; two sons, Carl Lehman of Fort Wayne and Bruce (Tina) Lehman of Woodburn.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Friday at the Maplecrest Mennonite Church, Fort Wayne. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the First Mennonite Church Chapel, Berne, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church.
Melvin Scott Rynearson, 75, of Decatur, passed away October 19, 2012, at his residence.
He was born April 10, 1937, in Auburn to the late Ronald and Irene (Wallace) Rynearson.
Melvin worked for Central Soya in Decatur for 28 years before retiring in 1998. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0207 of Willshire, OH, Eagles Lodge of Decatur and the Moose Lodge in Decatur.
