Diann Rose Gephart, 66, of Angola, Indiana, died on Saturday, August 13, 2011.
Diann was born on June 23, 1945, in Decatur, Indiana to Ambrose and AnnaBelle (Rupert) Gase.
She married John Robert Gephart on September 28, 1963, in Decatur, Indiana and he preceded her in death on October 29, 2008.

Melody A. Shell, 47, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday in Bluffton.
She was born to Ron Pietosi and Rita A. Larimore Foss, who survive.

"For a scrimmage, we looked good," stated Bellmont coach Larry Getts on the performance of his Braves against what appeared to be an outmanned Jay County team Friday evening in the controlled scrimmage at Bellmont.
The Braves had their way in goal line offense, scoring several times while overpowering Jay. On defense, Bellmont's first team had no trouble stopping the Patriots.
"Dave wore 19. Johnny Unitas was his idol," stated former Decatur mayor Fred Isch, fondly recalling the days when he coached Dave Anspaugh and a host of excellent Decatur Junior High football players. That group went on to record an unbeaten 8-0-1 high school season in 1964.
The rededication of the gravesite of American Revolutionary War Soldier Thomas Archbold will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, during the upcoming 175th Anniversary Celebration of Decatur.
Archbold is buried in Reynolds Cemetery, located in a clearing off Winchester Road, some two miles outside Decatur.
The ceremony is open to the public.
“Cuties of Decatur” will be presented four times this month during the city’s 175th anniversary celebration.
The play, written and directed by Mara Dee Striker Baker, will be performed at 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, August 17-18, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, with admission of $8.

Other survivors include a daughter, Danyell Abbott of Fort Wayne; a son, Anthony Shell of Noblesville; a brother, Michael Pietosi of Decatur; and two sisters, Melinda Foss of Decatur and Mrs. Rob (Melissa) Manns of Bluffton.
Ermil D. Shifferly, 89, a longtime resident of rural Monroe who lived the last two years at Woodcrest Retirement Community, died at 10:40 p.m. Thursday at Adams Memorial Hospital.
He married Mary M. Burger on April 3, 1943; she passed away on April 20, 2005.
He retired in 1987 from the CTS Corp. at Berne with 22 years of service.
He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II, serving in France and central Europe.
Cindy L. Werst, 64, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday August 13, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
She was born on November 22, 1946, to Herman and Mary (Fuhrman) Durr in Bluffton; they are deceased.
On August 1, 1970, Cindy married Patrick A. Werst.

Judy L. Brown, 72, of Decatur, died at her residence on Friday, August 12, 2011.
Judy was born on November 21, 1938, in Pisgah, Iowa, to Leslie J. and Myrtle L. (Hanson) Nuzum.
On August 20, 1977, she married Robert L. Brown.
Judy was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Berne. She also drove buses for the South Adams Schools district and worked at Lutheran Hospital at Fort Wayne in Central Service.
