The "perfect race at the perfect time" earned Bellmont sophomore Alexis Harvey All-State status in girls track, it was noted today by Bellmont's veteran track coach Carl Risch.
Harvey sped to fourth place at last Saturday's 200 meter final at the IHSAA Girls State Track and Field Meet held at the IU Track Complex in Bloomington..
Not only did Harvey gain a lot of respect, the fourth place earned her first team All-State status in her event, noted Risch.
The Farm Bureau Lifers clipped Peterson Grain 4-3 in a battle of once-beatens in the Monroe Little League Tuesday night.
