Bellmont High School will present this weekened “Anne of Green Gables," the story written by L. M Montgomery, adapted into a stage play by Alice Chadwicke and presented through special arrangement by Samuel French, Inc.
Performances will be presented on at 7 p.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Reserved-seat tickets ordered in advance are reserved seat tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for students and seniors citizens. Reserved seats are in the lower section of the theatre.
Walter H. Biedermann, 80, of Palm Coast, Florida, a former Decatur resident, died November 11 at home.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur.
Crystal M. Masterson, 83, formerly of Bluffton, died Wednesday in Ossian Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born to Leander and Mary E. McCullier Tuttle.
Among survivors are a son, Keith Masterson of Bluffton, and three daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Paula) Deininger of Bluffton, Mrs. Stephen (Joyce) Johnson of Berne, and Mrs. William (Vickie) Osborn of Bluffton.
Howard O. Wolf, 75, of Decatur, died on Wednesday at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Funeral arrangements are pending at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur.

Lois J. Lehman, 87, of Berne, passed away on Monday, November 14, at Swiss Village Retirement Community.
She was born on August 14, 1924, in Berne to Werner B. and Florence Teeters Lehman.
She was a retired teacher and librarian who graduated from Berne-French High School and Wheaton College in Illinois. She held master's degrees in English and in library and information science from Indiana University.
Olive F. Miller, 92, of Berne, died on Tuesday at her daughter's home in Berne.
She was born to Fred D. and Esther E. Fowles Greenwood.
Among survivors is a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Marilyn) Bahre of Berne.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, with burial in MRE Cemetery, rural Berne. Visiting hours are 1-3 p.m. Thursday.
Karen Schieferstein, 62, of Decatur, died Tuesday at home.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.
Lois C. Wheeler, 96, of Berne, died November 11 at Swiss Village Retirement Community.
She was born to Russell O. and Verna G. Ashley McLaughlin.
Among survivors are three daughters, Mary M. Scott of Berne; Mrs. LeRoy (Joanna C.) Adams of West Lafayette; and Mrs. Paul (Eunice L.) Barner of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, and four sons:,Ashley D. Wheeler of Fort Wayne; J. Ladd Wheeler of Crofton, Maryland; D. Lee Wheeler of Decatur; and H. Wheeler of Butler.
The IHSAA's decision to drop the Team State Wrestling Tournament following this season is a huge disappointment to 24-year Bellmont coach Brent Faurote, while Adams Central coach Doug Schultz and South Adams mentor Eric Myers have different takes.
The Braves have earned 14 (out of 16) Team State Finals berths and have earned multiple placements in the meet, and have beaten very strong Yorktown teams in two of the past three years. No other team has had as many Team State entries as Bellmont.
FORT WAYNE— The Squaws traveled to Bishop Dwenger seeking their first win last night as they faced the Saints in their third contest the year, and they fell short by a 54-46 count.
Bellmont played up and down with Dwenger for most of the game, but never really found the lead except for early in the first quarter. The game was, in fact, tied at 12 after the first frame.
